Benky's Ice Cream just outside of Mt. Rushmore has been a family owned, South Dakota institution since 1966. Breeanne shares here review on our first day in Rapid City, SD while we were in the area exploring Mount Rushmore.
Hey there we are in Keystone, South Dakota. And eating ice cream at thing which is just right up here on. I'm going to call it main street even though it's not called Main Street probably. And the flavor that I got is really con and it's good ice cream. It's sweet. And the pecans are really nice to chew into. They're very they're, they taste like they are candy coated. So that makes it yummy. The ice cream itself. It tastes a little bit grainy. And it has a lot of air in it as well. So as soon as I put it into my mouth, it just melts almost immediately an account to it. The fun thing about ice cream is that it just brings people together. As we were waiting in line I started to talk to these people asking them what they liked about ice cream and and what it does for them something they said was they eat ice cream to just be together and to forget company and to enjoy friendship and I love that I love that that's what I attributed as it brings people together. And so it doesn't always matter. The type of ice cream that you get whether it's really premium ice cream or just like bankies here, you know it I spent brings people together and it's a way to have fun and it and to enjoy a vacation and open friends and family. And so when you're in the mood and you're with people that you just love ice cream.
