Banana pudding is a classic Southern dessert, known for its layers of creamy vanilla custard, ripe bananas, and soft vanilla wafers. Creamalicious takes this nostalgic favorite and transforms it into a premium ice cream experience. Their Banana Pudding Ice Cream promises to blend the flavors of fresh-baked pastries with a rich, indulgent base, bringing the best of both worlds together in one scoop.
But does it live up to its description? I put it to the test to see if this ice cream truly captures the comforting essence of banana pudding.
Creamalicious is known for its storytelling approach to ice cream, creating flavors inspired by Southern traditions and family memories. The packaging reflects this with warm, inviting colors and branding that feels personal and nostalgic.
Upon opening the carton, the ice cream had a smooth, creamy appearance with visible swirls of what looked like vanilla wafer pieces. The aroma carried hints of banana and custard, immediately reminding me of homemade banana pudding.
The consistency is exactly what you’d expect from a super-premium ice cream—dense, creamy, and smooth. The mix-ins are well-distributed, ensuring that every spoonful delivers a bit of everything. The wafers maintain some texture without becoming too soggy, which helps retain the dessert’s classic feel.
Absolutely. If you love banana pudding, this ice cream does a fantastic job of capturing its essence while elevating it with a rich, indulgent texture. Creamalicious has managed to bring a comforting, homemade dessert into the world of ice cream without losing the soul of the original dish.
The combination of creamy banana, buttery wafers, and smooth custard makes it a standout flavor that offers both nostalgia and a premium ice cream experience. Whether you're a fan of Southern desserts or just looking for something unique, Creamalicious Banana Pudding Ice Cream is a must-try.
Creamalicious delivers on its promise of bridging the past with the present through flavor. Each bite of Banana Pudding Ice Cream feels like a memory, bringing the warmth and comfort of a homemade Southern dessert into an indulgent frozen treat. It’s more than just ice cream—it’s an experience.
Would I buy it again? Without a doubt. If you’re looking for a sweet escape to the good old days, this flavor belongs in your freezer.
hey there today we're gonna do another brand review. This one is creamy, delicious, and the flavor is slap yo mama banana pudding. It's a banana custard with shortbread cookie crumbs. I'm curious about this flavor because I also have a banana pudding flavor. So I just want to see how it compares the packaging on here is fun, and it's hard but still software I can I can squeeze it whoa, wow, look at that extremely bright yellow that is very bright yellow it doesn't taste like real banana. It tastes very artificial. It certainly has the color of Laffy Taffy and it melts very quickly. I had just a little bit on my spoon and it just just running down. So let's see what the ingredients are in this milk cream sugar, banana flavor, which they say is banana puree sugar. Oh, they put Tumeric for the color. So let's try some of the shortbread pieces in here I want to really be able to taste it without tasting the ice cream. I like the texture of the shortbread and I can kind of taste it but not really because this banana flavor is really overpowering. Honestly, I don't like the color of this. It makes it too artificial to me and I don't like that. I don't love the flavor either. It tastes fake. Even if they say they put banana puree in here and just taste fake. And I don't really like that the texture of the ice cream is a little grainy. It doesn't have a very smooth texture on my time and in my palate. As I choose the ice cream. I feel the tiny ice crystals in there being crunched just running my spoon over the ice cream. I definitely kind of has a cotton candy effect to it where it just melts on the tongue and it very much melts on the spoon. When you have a good high quality ice cream. It should hold itself for a little bit longer than this. Obviously ice cream is supposed to melt. You don't have to create your ice cream to melt immediately. You can create it to hold together and then melt slowly. I think I like the shortbread pieces in here though. I really do like shortbread cookies. And so I think it is a fun touch to have those in the ice cream in my banana pudding ice cream. I use real bananas. And I use Nilla Wafers. It's one of my top sellers which is a surprise for me because not everybody loves banana. However, they love my banana pan and it is very good and it tastes real and it tastes like real banana pudding pie but there you go. Oh man, this really is dripping everywhere. cream delicious. Ice cream, blissfully southern. I missed that earlier. I lived in the South for a while. And that's where I was introduced to banana pudding. My banana pudding tastes more like Southern banana pudding than this does. And I don't want to be rude and mean about that. It's just the fact of my tastebuds.
